Get to Know . . .

  • Rebecca is the proud owner and founder of Gladly Music. She is a board certified music therapist, musician, and teacher based in Miami, Fl. She is currently leading the music based parenting method program, and providing in person music therapy and adaptive music lessons on a limited basis.

    She is experienced working with a large variety of populations including inpatient adult neuro-rehabilitation, inpatient child and adolescent behavioral health, home health with children with all needs and abilities (especially those with Autism Spectrum Disorder), and older adults in memory care, nursing care, and assisted living facilities.

    Rebecca is also a professional musician and Jewish cantorial soloist/cantor in training. She sings and accompanies herself on the guitar and piano. She is a classically trained soprano, but loves to sing in all styles particularly Jewish music, pop and musical theater.

    Rebecca approaches all services with an open mind and flexibility, kindness, creativity, and professionalism.

  • Gabriel Perez is a senior undergraduate student studying music therapy at the Frost School of Music, University of Miami. He was born and raised in South Florida and has been playing saxophone for over 10 years. Gabriel is passionate about music and enjoys playing all genres. He takes pleasure in performing for and teaching others and bringing joy to those around him. He strives to make his students feel confident because of music and makes it as enjoyable of an activity as possible. Gabriel has also learned to play guitar, piano, bass guitar, ukulele, clarinet, flute, and singing throughout his school years. When not playing music, Gabriel loves to travel and watch/play sports. After graduation, he plans to obtain a 6-month music therapy internship en route to becoming a Board Certified Music Therapist.
